Mexico data roaming

so frustrating. Unable to add a data pass as the website url is not safe so the page is not loading correctly. Tried ingignito, different browser and clearing cookies but still showing as connection not safe. Looking at posts from 2024 this appears to have been an issue for two years at least. Alternatively when i tried adding a roaming plan via sms it told me it worked but didnt and when contacted ee via webchat the confirmed plan didnt add on.

@OverlordGoatman : You should've received a Welcome text upon arrival at a country giving your roaming options.

If you are on contract, you may use your usual UK allowances in the EE ROW Zone 1 with up to 50 GB data per billing month if you have more, when you buy the Zone 1 Pass for £5 / day or £25 / week or already have it as an Inclusive Extra or you have an EE Full Works or EE Max Plan. Otherwise you will need to pay the charges or buy roaming add-ons as you can find out in https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile/roaming/roaming-costs/.

If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.

If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

As you are ready there click on "Buy Data" in your pix to buy these Roaming Passes. That page is perfectly safe as it is only within the EE network, not in the wide Web.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Hi @OverlordGoatman.

Just to add to @XRaySpeX's brilliant comments, If you're still in the UK and you're connected to WIFI, could you try disconnecting and then try using the site again please?

If you're still unable to access the site, I'd recommend giving us a call so a guide can get this looked into for you and get the product added.

If you're outside of the UK at the moment, you can still contact us from abroad.
