Making calls from Australia to uk

hi iam in australia and have a uk sim and i have the correct roaming pass, i got a message when i arrived saying "while you're here thanks to your roaming pass you can use your uk plan allowances" but when i try to call nothing happens no ringing sound, i also have been told someone has tried to call me but i didnt recieve a call.  Data works fine just not calls

i tried to switch to telstra and it let me call someone however i cant always access telstra, why doesnt it work on any other service like optus or vodophone for example? thanks

@benc81932  Depends on who EE roaming partner is.  You’re basically asking why doesn’t my EE sim work on o2 or Voda.  

  Have you restarted the device since you got there ?

Roaming means using foreign network. O2 & VF are both UK networks, the same as EE.

So then why does my data work on the other services like Optus…? just not
calls.

My hunch would be a VoLTE issue.
