Hi,
I have a full works plan and global roaming included. Just got to India and I received a message from ee that my plan covers the country including data. While I'm connected to a network, no data is flowing through. I've reset my phone, engaged roaming is on, nothing is working.
Can someone help? Ironically I work for BT and am here for work.

Often just rebooting the phone is the simple remedy. Also try selecting a network manually rather than auto.
Did you receive a Welcome text upon arrival?
As you are on contract, did you activate roaming on your EE a/c before leaving UK by texting ROAMING to 150? Having a roaming billing add-on doesn't of itself activate roaming on your a/c. Having roaming activated on your EE a/c, not just on your device, is crucial to using your contract SIM abroad.
Otherwise if you are on contract you need to call CS to get your roaming activated. Try calling CS on the Freephone no. in my sig. using a web-calling app over WiFi.

Copy & paste nonsense. Roaming is self-evidently active, by virtue of the OP confirming "I'm connected to a network" and "I received a message"
This last poster has even asked "did you receive a welcome text on arrival" which has already been answered.
Just a simple "try manually swapping networks" would have been a simpler answer, and far more help.
