Hi there. I’m in the Dominican Republic at the moment, my data works fine as I have the all inclusive plan, however I can’t make any calls to the UK…. I can’t even call EE everytime I call a Spanish automated women is on the phone (I don’t speak Spanish) any tips please? I toggled airplane mode on and off 200 times, restarted my phone too many times, Skype isn’t a thing anymore so no one try to suggest Skype to me…. All these other WiFi calling apps they expect me to pay for… (don’t see why I should when I’m paying for EE for my all inclusive plan to call back to the UK)….

Try selecting a network manually rather than auto.

Hi @Oliviat1997
Have you added the international code before your number.
Thanks

Hi @Oliviat1997
Welcome to the community. I hope you're having a lovely time in the Dominican Republic so far.
If your data is working OK, it would indicate that your plan and roaming are set up. If you're able to, I recommend speaking with our customer support team from another phone so they can double-check everything from our side.

Hi Chris,

What else can I do?!

Welcome to the Community @lucyanne01 and @Marc1968
If you're able to get connected with one of our Guides via the messaging option in the EE app, they should be able to check your roaming settings and make sure everything is in place.
It's worth checking to see if you received a landing message when you first arrived, and also trying to connect to a different roaming network manually via your network settings.
If you continue to struggle then ringing is going to be the best option; you can do this from any network abroad, including local networks, on +44 7953 966 150

Hi Peter,
We have already tried manual changing the provider, that doesn’t work.
We have tried to contact them through the chat box and we don’t seem to be getting anywhere!

@lucyanne01 , did you receive the welcome message from EE when landing there? This also applies to @lucyanne01 and @Marc1968 .
