Hi my grandsons are on my family sim.
they have gone abroad. I couldn’t get to speak to anyone at EE but I read they have to respond to a text when they reach Austria. I also read it was £2.47 a day or £15 a week. I’m unsure how I buy the £15 a week pass.
also if they unlimited roaming in UK will they have unlimited in Austria?
sorry if I sound dim, I’m elderly and have some cognitive and vision problems, I’m worried they will rack up a huge bill for me. I used to be able to ring EE or speak to them on messenger but this doesn’t seem possible now which is really difficult when you have problems, can the community help me please ?

@Scattyaunty : You don't buy the EU 1 week pass, they do when they are offered it on arrival.
Each no. is limited to a 50 MB data FUP per billing month.

Does it matter who actually buys the pass? It will still be charged to your bill.
EE operates a Fair Usage Policy whereby when roaming you are limited to at most 50GB data each billing period. Mins & texts are not so limited.
