EU Roaming add on - inability to buy

Im in Italy for three months and have just recieved my first bill. 
I have been charged the £2.47.  a day and decide i would rather try and find a monthly roaming add on rather than stack up a large bill to use my phone as normal. 

This it seems is impossible i have spent the best part of an hour going round and round in circles to pages full of information about the add ons i want and simply no button or place for me to purches. 

 

Second i go to my ee plan and bills page and its says i already have an eu roaming add on and that its free??
I just want to add a roaming pass to my plan. And if thats not possible to be told thats the case.

Completley infuriating and unhelpful website.

Any help whats so ever would be extremely appreciated.

I hope you are having a good time in Italy. I'm sorry you are having trouble finding a better option to cover your usage while abroad. With the length of time you are away, it may be worth giving our customer care team a call and looking for a plan that would include EU usage or perhaps looking at local SIMs.

Not only is the website/ help completely useless, but it also has a circular logic. It is impossible to talk to a customer care team as the system hangs up and returns me to the useless help. **bleep**, I need to talk to a human being. Just arrived in Tenerife and want to buy a roaming pass. Increased spend cap to cover but still cannot buy.

Hi @Cugel 

Welcome to the community.

Have you tried calling 150 and selecting option 1, then option 2? It should give you the option to speak to someone. They'll be able to check your account and make sure you're all set up for the rest of your trip.
