Connecting my sons iPad and phone to my hospot in France

I am currently in France and my EU roaming / DATA is working fine on my phone but won’t let me connect my sons IPAD to it? It says it’s connected but giving him no internet

Hi @Kirstie28 

I hope you're having a great time in France.

There are a couple of things that you can try which will hopefully get your iPad connected to your phone's hotspot.

It's worth checking that your hotspot is definitely switched on.

  • Turn Allow Others to Join OFF, then ON again
  • Reconnect the iPad from scratch: Make sure you forget the network first.

If you're roaming, your phone may be more strict with how it shares data. 

It may allow your phone to use data but limit tethering unless everything lines up.
