Charges from Morocco

Hi Bristolian. We are going to Morocco this weekend and i intend to buy an e-sim data package(not from EE) do you know what will happen re charges if i make calls using Whatsapp calling and using the third party data e-sim ?

Thanks for coming here. 

The charges for using another network SIM will come from that network. 

I'd recommend checking roaming rates before travelling.

WhatsApp is an internet-app, so it just uses whatever internet connection your phone has active.

cheers thanks . One more quick question. If i purchase an data e-sim from a third party do you know how i make that the primary data source on an iPhone , so that when i make a whatsapp call it uses the e-sim and doesn't try to access any EE service

Anything you do on that eSIM will not incur EE charges, but it might from the network you got it from. You need to check their tariff.
