Can't make calls in USA

I have the same problem. I have roaming, I received the welcome text from EE when I arrived in the USA and I can use data but can't call. I just get the message 'not registered on the network'. I made sure that there is no cap on my account before leaving the UK. This is very frustrating and causing huge problems for me.

Hello @CEL30 ,

Welcome to the community,

If you untick automatic network and do a manual search, you should then find one that works, try the different ones until one works for you.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Thank you, that worked! EE should change their instructions, as they state that automatic network selection needs to be used!

That worked in St Louis, but now I am in Los Angeles nothing seems to work. I can't ring any number so can't contact EE customer service . . . . .

Automatic selection is normally the way to go. Manual selection is part of fault-finding if you have issues with a specific network.
