Calls keep dropping since power outage

Hi,

I am on an EE contract and live in Portugal. Since the power outage I have been unable to make calls. On attempt, the calls keep dropping. I am fully aware WhatsApp calls are still going through but I want to call landlines.

I have tried removing sim card, turning phone off and on. Selecting a home network in Portugal. Nothing seems to be working.

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

@RDani1985  There could still be network issues. What’s app uses data so will work if you’re connected to WiFi.

@RDani1985 : It is well publicised in the News that there is a major intermittent power supply issue in the Iberian peninsula. This will obviously affect the local mobile networks & landlines. There is nowt EE can do to help there. Contact your local council (conselho) & find out what they are doing about it.

Any use of WhatsApp, Facebook, Sky Sports, BBC News or any other internet-app proves a working internet connection.

Sorry, I should have been clear with my message. It's normal calls that I can't make, Internet and WiFi calls are fine on WhatsApp.

Sorry i should have been clear, I just mean normal calls not WiFi/internet and data calls.
