If you aren't connecting to a local network and have £0 spend cap then you won't be charged @DonaCord.
Having a Spend Cap will restrict daily charges.

Hi @DonaCord.
Thanks for coming here.
Are you a pay monthly customer?
Is your phone connecting to a local network?

But.... if your phone received a text message, it must have either...
1: Been connected to a local network, or 2: Inadvertently using WiFi-calling
Receiving texts is free, and the £0 spend cap should prevent chargeable activity.
