Add Roam Abroad While Abroad

Hi,

My current plan which includes roam abroad pass will change to a sim only plan while I’m in the USA. Is it possible to add roam abroad to the sim only plan while overseas. I read somewhere that it can only be added before departure.

Is the Roam Abroad Pass an Inclusive Extra?

If yes, this would need to be reapplied, this can be done at the point of sale or within your EE account online.

Any chargeable add-on should carry across.

the pass is an exclusive extra so I understand it will need to be reapplied. Can it be reapplied from overseas?

Yes, you can change your Inclusive Extras whilst roaming.

Does your SIM plan have Inclusive Extras included? If yes, did you select the Roam Abroad Pass when upgrading?

The sim only plan doesn’t have a extra included so I’ll just add the £25 roam abroad pass when I’m in the USA

That's right @Frester. 

I'd recommend switching to flight mode and back and this should also trigger a welcome text with a link to purchase the add-on.

After you change to the SIMO plan text ROAMING PASS to 150 from it. You'll then be charged £25 per billing month until you stop it.
