Hello. I have just signed up to ee so I can use their PAYG data only sim for when I go traveling in France. What am I doing wrong? I have  bought credit, but how do I put the add on package unto the sim? I go to buy add on, then the app tells me to log in again, which I do. Then the app tells me to turn my Wi-Fi off…but on what? The sim is in my 4G LTE M7350.
Any help appreciated. It really shouldn’t be this hard. 😩

Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Hello. This is my problem. Turn on tp-link 4G LTE M7350. Connect using WI-FI on my ipad to aforementioned device. As I have no credit at all on the ee sim at all, how do I connect to the site? All I get is a message saying “ No internet connection”. I also read on the ee site…”Turn off WI-FI then connect to site.” How does that work? It just sits there, as no WI-FI.

The data add-on link takes you to only within the EE network. You don't need data to get there.

Don't turn off WiFi. The instruction you read on EE site are directed at mobile phones where they want you to turn off WiFi to make sure you are connected to the mobile network. With a mobile router you are anyway connected to the mobile network thro' its SIM.

I usually operate from a PC over fixed BB. I also have a mobile router with an EE PAYG SIM with no credit, no data, nothing. When I disable my Ethernet to the BB router (which EE interprets as WiFi as it can access the Net) & connect to the mobile router by WiFi I can easily get to the data add-on link. I can do nowt there as I have no credit but hey, lol! It's proof of concept.

Hello. If I click http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase it just opens the page that tells me to turn my WI-FI off. Then even if I push the Buy Data button on that page, it just flashes and does nothing? 😩
