Did you mean:

ee top up Vesta

Angry_John
Visitor

1 May received text from 150 telling me I had used 80% of minutes allowance.

I only call with wifi calling.

1 May received text from 'EE' thanking me for topping up. Bank notified me of ee Vista payment.

6 May no top up has been applied, no service available, help line "temporarily unavailable".

Is ee incompetent or fraudulent?

Hi @Angry_John

Unless you're using WhatsApp calls (or similar service) WiFi calls come out of your allowance.

Are you in the UK? Have you restarted your device?

Can you text BA to 150, what does it say.

Thanks

So what? They still count against your mins allowance. WiFi Calling is just a routing alternative when the mobile signal is weak or non-existent. It is not a cost saver.

And to add, WiFi-calling still routes your calls & texts via EE's core network for onward connection to other networks.

Apps can only communicate between users of that app. WiFi-calling just replaces the radio connection from your phone with a wireless internet one.
