Hello,
I am currently on a pay-as-you-go sim with EE, I've just topped up online so I can make calls and text. However, every time I've tried to make a call or text it says calls to this number are bared. I've also received a text saying I could lose my number soon so I am trying show its active.
I am travelling for a year so I'm out of the country and need to get in contact with the support team however I'm unable to call them (as per issue above). It seems they don't have a live chat feature anymore which is frustrating.
Any help or support would be much appreciated!

How long have you been out of UK?
Had you used that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Remember to make sure that the "Roaming" and the "International" features are enabled with both the account and the device settings.
Also has this issue been resolved since?

of course there is, both account and device settings have the option to enable and disable as well as configure roaming and international services and cellular connectivity.

Look your ignorance is holding you back, 😭 what more can I say than just do the research and find out for yourself. Here’s my last picture but ima just deactivate the account I’ve seen too much ignorance on here.
