Hi, a few other people in the last couple months have had the same issue but haven't had any useful response sadly.
When setting up a new payment method for a recurring payment, seemingly for any sort payment, it's currently impossible to complete this. After inserting card details you go to the "Additional payer authentication required to complete your payment" page, however the element that is meant to load for card verification doesn't.
I have attempted this on Chrome, Firefox, and the mobile version of Chrome and have had this error:
However, when setting up a recurring payment via one of the links on the Android app, that did work so if anyone else attempts to pay EE I guess right now - other than phoning them - you might just have to check around for different parts of the site or app to be able to pay.

Having that problem right now. App has always been terrible.
