I received a call from an EE operator offering to change my PAYG package. Since speaking with him, I can send, but not receive texts to overseas. I have switched the SIM card to a different phone, but this still does not help.

Hi James, nothing of the sort, which is why I am now thinking that the phone call may not be relevant to my problem at the moment.
