Hi. I was on contract until yesterday when my phone went to Pay as You Go.
I have moved to Spain and I wanted to keep my UK number going.
I have topped up my phone with credit, I am, however, unable to receive texts or calls, or make calls from Spain, I get a message saying "calls to this number are barred".
The SIM went from contract to PAYG while in Spain. None of the calls made to EE gave me any indication or information that we would need to activate the call in the UK ven though I gave them the day we were leaving for Spain and they knew the day the contract would change to PAYG.
Can anybody help please?
Thank you so much.

Hi @laglows
Thanks for posting.
I'm sorry if you move to pay as you go from a contract the SIM would need to be activated on the EE network in the UK, before the SIM card will work abroad on pay as you go. This will not work until this is used for a call or text on EE in the UK.
