Unabke to use pack allowances in USA

Hi,

I contacted EE twice using the EE chat online service (I provided my EE phone number to the advisers so they could access my account) before going abroad to the USA to confirm what the data roaming costs would be for me in the USA. Both times I was advised by EE that I would be able to use my pack allowances (pay as you go subsciption pack) abroad in the USA for a charge this being £2.50 for 24 hours access or I can choose to pay £10 for 7 days access. However, now that I am in USA, the text I received from EE is only offering data roaming add ons which are much more expensive for not much data. When I tried to text ROAMEU7D to 150, as this was what was advised by EE in order to access my pack allowances for 7 days at the cost of £10, I get the message "I'm sorry but you are not eligible for this add on".

Please can you help me access my pack allowances in the USA the way I was previously advised by EE, I am relying on using my pack allowances (particularly my data) in the USA to get around.

Thanks for coming here. 

I am very sorry, the Roam like home pay as you go add-on is for the EU only and won't work in the USA.

@HHK18D   You was advised to text ROAMEU7D.   That’s ROME in the EU for 7 Days.   ROAM-EU-7-D.
