Trying to register my pay, you go phone on WhatsApp

I’m trying to register my pay as you go phone on WhatsApp and I have put my pay you go SIM card into my iPhone 16e and tried to get a verification code to register my number with WhatsApp with no luck tried to get a phone call for a verification code no luck. I might contact EE in the morning if there is a chat that I can do it on .

i am no good with phone calls because of my autism,ADHD and mild learning disability. Can I chat via messaging on the app instead of making a phone call to EE like I can with Vodafone, which my contract SIM is with

There is no Live Chat on PAYG.

Have you topped-up you PAYG SIM at all? You need to to be able to receive texts.
