Topped up but still cant use phone.

I have topped up my pay as you go ee sim with £15. I live in Greece, and I need to have this number for uk pensions banks etc until I change them all to my greek number. I am trying to log into PayPal but they insist on contacting me through this uk number. Trouble is, even after topping up I am not receiving any texts or calls. Is there a reason this is happenning? This is the first time I have topped up in about 4 years, I have £15.25 credit so dp not understand why I do not get any texts or calls, if anyone has an idea I would be grateful. Thanks!

If you haven't used the SIM in 4 years then it's dead. Can you call out on it?

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.
