Hi all,
I am looking to move to SIM only (PAYG) when my contract ends which is next month.
Live Chat says to call EE but I wanted to know how much you guys pay a month on SIM only with unlimited data and texts? Do you also get to keep your number?
Thanks

@Ml5454 You’ll keep the number as it’s an upgrade. Depending on what sim only contract you go with you’ll pay differently to someone else as they might not have the same sim only that you choose. Sim only isn’t PAYG. ( Pay As You Go )
if you want a PAYG you just inform EE you wish to change to PAYG, you’ll keep the same number.
To terminate the current contract you have to give 30 days notice and you can request to change to PAYG once you have reached the minimum term date.

I have a sim only with EE with unlimited data/text/mins and also apple one thrown in and some other benefits, at the time they was doing some deals and it was only £27 a month, I’m sure it was called unlimited full works for iPhone. I’m very happy with said deal although it goes up £1.50 every year so will be £30 by end but that’s still a good deal to me as I’ve got all the Apple services as well. You can get some good sim only deals but I believe now it goes up £2.50 each year now for new sim only deals.

@Ml5454 : Just call CS & give 30 days notice to end your contract & have it moved to PAYG. You'll retain your no.

Others have said, but I'll reinforce for clarity..
SIM-only is a pay-monthly plan just like any other - the only difference being no phone is supplied.
PAYG is a pre-payment topup based system where you don't get bills.
Make sure you're clear which you want.
