Sim not recieving calls

My sim has stopped receiving calls, when people call me it just says this number is not receiving calls. I have had this sim and number for years. I need to keep my number if I change sims

Your symptoms are consistent with a PAYG line that's been hibernated.

In the absence of chargeable usage or top-ups, PAYG lines are hibernated after 179 days. You then have a further 3months to contact EE-CS to reactivate the number and restore credit, before the line is totally disconnected after 273 days.
