I've been given a Samsung Galaxy phone and as I'm hoping to setup a community project, I'll be wanting to use an alternative number for the project and so I'll need a new pay as you go sim card and I don't know if I can get one sent to me or do I have to purchase one from an EE store.

You can order one online, buy one from an EE store or most likely supermarkets too.
