Roaming charges

Hi

I have just finished a 24 month contract and moved to payg. When I was doing the online chat to swap over I asked the question about roaming charges. And I was told twice I can definitely use my subscription pack data, calls and texts in the eu. Is this possible? As now I am on payg I have lost the chat dialogue off my app. However I did get a text when I topped up confirming uk and eu.

For PAYG there are now roaming charges for using your pack allowances in the EU of either £2.50 / day, by texting ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by texting ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. If you opt to text neither you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts.

Thank you for the reply. I am aware of the charges. However I was told by the adviser that EU was included in my pack at no extra cost and I have a text stating as follows:-

You now have 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 8GB to use in the UK & EU for up to 30 days and £10.00 has come out of your credit.

Your £10 Pack will automatically renew on 01/08 as long as you have £10.00 credit. To keep track of your usage go to the EE app or reply AL

So I wanted to check is it actually free then for me?
