My wife was on a sim contract now she is on pay as you go with the same sim. It's a nightmare to top up using her card. Tried several time and still wasn't authaurised. Looks like we will be leaving EE. It's a headache I don't need

Hi @HTT1,

Welcome to the Community!

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you're having. Are you looking to top up in the EE app? Do you have the card in question registered?

Rach

I find it very stupid. It's the same card ee had been taking payment from
for 3 years. I should not have to go through trouble of using app etc.
Called 150 all I get is customer service is closed blah blah call back at
8am. No options of purchasing bundles etc

As the plan has changed to Pay As You Go then this would be a new account @HTT1

You would also need to set up a new online account, to be able to manage this.

If you speak with out team then they will be able to set up a recurring payment for you, so that you don't need to worry about manually making a payment.

@HTT1 : Try using Fast Top-up online to pay by UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is her mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.
