Pay as you go and Europe charges

Hi

I have been a payg customer with ee for many years. I am travelling to Europe tomorrow going to France, Germany, Denmark and Norway. Can I use my ee allowances in these countries or do I need to buy an add on pack of some kind. All info I can find on ee website seems to be either unclear or contradictory.

As yet EE haven't introduced any charges for PAYG users to use their UK allowances in the EU. EE has not yet announced if & when they may start. So you may continue to use your pack allowances in EU as before w/out charge.

Not true.

Have just been charged to send a text from Spain and yesterday a phone call to UK was charged.

I have a pay as you go pack. It was free now it is not.

Just had a message from EE when tried to use data saying must buy an add on data pack.

Please check your details XRaySpeX

Hi @Ml374

At the time this information was correct when @XRaySpeX replied. As of the 6th June 2023 you’ll now be charged to use your minutes, texts and data allowances in our EE Europe zone.

Please see our Pay As You Go charges for roaming in the EU Help page for more details.

Leanne.

@Ml374 : That was then, a year ago, this is now. You should've received a message about the changes to EU roaming on PAYG.
