I bought EE sim for £30 at the Manchester airport which is having £20 top- up with 60GB. My question is why did they charge me £10 extra for £20 sim?

@tmtmc : Who at Manchester Airport did you buy it from? Was it a vending m/c? They could just be surcharging you just for the pleasure of selling it you.

There is a shop at the terminal and bought from the cashier. Isn’t there a penalty for surcharging like that? EE should monitor those kind of activities.

Hi @tmtmc

It sounds like there could have been a mistake. Did the packaging say that it's a £30 pack?

Chris

Hi Chris,

In the packaging it says £20 pack.

Then why did you hand over £30 to the cashier?

That’s my fault. I’m very new to UK and I thought that’s how it is.
