PAYG reactivate

I haven’t used use my sim since Oct 2023. I try to reactive the sim when I need to receive text message from HMRC. I topped up my sim but I can’t use the credit to buy any plan. How can I reactivate? Cheers 🙂

You will need to contact EE CS to reactivate a hibernated SIM. Either 150 from the phone in question, or 07953 966150 from any other phone.

You have 273 days from last chargeable use, before the number is disconnected completely and any credit is lost.

Your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation after so long non-use.

EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
