Hello,
I'm trying to top up my pay-as-you-go SIM on the EE website (ee.co.uk), but my payment is declined every time.
- Top-up amount: £5
- Card issued in: uk
What I've already tried:
- Checked the card details, expiry date and billing address
- Confirmed the card has sufficient funds and online payments are enabled
- Tried a different browser/device
Could someone please check whether there is a block on my number or a problem with the payment on EE's side?
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply, XRaySpeX.
Unfortunately I'm not able to make a phone call to customer service at the moment, as I'm based outside the UK and the freephone numbers don't connect from my location. Is there any written way to contact EE Customer Service about a pay-as-you-go top-up problem?
For example:
- a web chat or messaging option that works for PAYG customers
- an official email address or contact form
- a WhatsApp number or social media account (X/Facebook) that EE support monitors
I understand web chat may only be offered to pay monthly customers, so if there is another official text-based route for PAYG, I'd really appreciate a link or details.
Thank you.

There is no Live Chat on PAYG. EE do not offer email contact. Unaware of any social media contact.
+44 (0)7953 966 150 should connect from abroad.

Thank you, I'll try that number.
