Is EE selling PAYG 4Gee minis knowing full well that they can't be topped up online?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

when I try to top up online through My EE, it simply doesn't work and I end up going in circles.

Try using Fast Top Up online with a UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details. If you don't know its no. just text NUMBER to 150.
