Inability to register a prepaid pack

Hello. I'm on vacation to the UK. My wife currently moved here and works with NHS. I purchased an EE sim so thatvi can be in communication with her when we are not together unfortunately I could not register a pack with her bank cards. The home country debit cards are also useless. What do I do?

@Dr_Asher : Try giving a UK Billing Addy for your cards, like where you are staying.
