Did you mean:

PACK05 does not work - what a scam

g_s_something

I have checked I have £5 balance.  Testing PACK05 to 150 gets a "Sorry i didn't recognise that." response.  Webchat refuses to engage with any PAYG queries - suggesting calling in at 25p / min, which will then reduce my credit so I can't buy the pack.  What a scam.  Why can't EE support PAYG customers with webchat?  And to boot it's a crappy bot.

How on earth am I meant to get a pack applied?  Sooooooo frsutrating.

Hi Chris -

ALL APCKS = gives me list of all packs (which includes the £5 PACK05 option).

PACK05 = gives me a "Sorry i didn't recognise that..." response.

My theory is that PACK05 is not configured on the short code.  I don't have the money to try other options but my hunch is that PACK10, et al, will work.

Are you able to choose the £5 pack through your My EE account, @g_s_something?

Chris

You could test PACK10 by making sure your credit is less than £10 when you do it but I suspect it will come up with the same msg as PACK05.

I would really like to see what your online MyEE says about your current Pack, allowances & credit. It'll be on the landing or My EE Mobile page.

If you text EP10 to 150 do you get the same error msg as PACK05?

Different EE user here. Can confirm OP's complaint. It's not an issue specific to him.

Pack 5 does not work via texting 150>ALL PACKS>PACK05 (and all variant spellings): "Sorry I didn't recognise that."

Pack 10 does work, but I don't want pack 10 I want 5.

I'm not sure when the issue started specifically, I guess about 3 months ago.

Something seriously wrong here. Please fix this immediately EE.,

EP10 same: "Sorry I didn't recognise that."

I also seem to be locked into packs now. I can't turn them off to just buy the odd the 250mb here and there as I used to.

@Marvox : Does STOP PACK to 150 also not work?

Different user here and exact same problem. ALL PACKS response includes PACK05 but when I text that I get the response mentioned above.

Have also verified I've got way more than five pounds on my balance.

PACK10 seems to work just fine though. 🙂

Could someone from EE tell us whether this pack is offered to payg customers or not, please?

If not then it should probably not be included in the ALL PACKS list?

Thanks

It's as if EE has withdrawn the PACK05 w/out telling anybody while still leaving it in the PAYG Price Guide.

That wouldn't surprise me, and that's pretty bad
