Hi,
I've used a EE sim card for a few years while in the UK and then left for another 2 years. For a while i could get OTPs from my accounts but not anymore. Probably because i stopped charging that sim card.
The issue is that everytime i try to log into my bank app it sends an OTP but i never receive it so i don't know what should i do. I still have the phyisical sim card into my phone but nothing comes through.
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

@sdfsdgfdg Your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation & then been completely deactivated after 9 months of non-use.
EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months period of grace to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

I've read this on other posts here, unfortunately its been more than 9 months since i charged that SIM. Is there any chance that going into an EE store with the phyisical sim, they would give my number back ? Or maybe if i give details about top-ups etc, i mean my EE account was associated with that number.

Not a chance! You'll need a new PAYG SIM with a new no. & heed this for the future.

@sdfsdgfdg You need to contact your bank to change the number with them to a number that you have access too. If that means you need to get a new EE sim with a new number first than that what you need to do.

Hi there!
I think something similar has happened to me, but because I’m in Mexico, I can’t use my phone to make the international call.
Is there any other way I can get in touch with EE to ask them to reactivate my SIM before it is fully deactivated?
For example, can I contact anyone online?
Thanks!
