I have received a text saying I am not using my phone enough and the number may be withdrawn . I have a dual sim slot so my number one account is used most and number two very little. Provided my alternative number is in credit why do I have to use it.

EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You need to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)
Thanks for your reply , but in my case I used the number several times a few weeks ago , end of July , so cannot understand why I got this text ??? As I say I use my main number every day for banking so hope they do not cancel that one  .Any way will see if I get another . Thanks again

Thanks for your reply , but as  I said in my last post my phone has dual sim slots so obviously one gets used more than the other . However I am sure it is not more than a few weeks since I used the number two sim . Any way see what happens , thanks .

You used it, but did you spend money on it at that time? That's what matters, not just using it but making a chargeable transaction.
