Lost SIM and converting to e-Sim

Hello Sir/Madam,

I bought a pay-as-go package from EE on my previous visit to the United Kingdom. I'm going to visit soon to UK, unfortunately, my SIM card is missing, cannot find it.

I bought a new package through the EE application, but I don't know how to use it as an e-Sim. How can I convert my existing physical Sim card to an e-Sim when I land in the UK?

Thank you in advance for your valuable time and feedback.

Hi @erkin1

Welcome to the community.

eSIM is currently not available for pay as you go customers.

When was the last time your pay as you go SIM was used?

Should you visit a local EE Store with photo ID the team will be able to provide you with a replacement.

Not necessarily! If it's been more than 6 months since you last used it your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you previously use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
