EE would do themselves a favor to take a second look at that. They are the only provider in the UK offering restricted chat minutes with a skimpy 8GB limit at a snail's pace of just 25mbps for £10. An embarrassment of an offer.
Marketing drives consumer behavior. One can only assume EE wants the PAYG customer to migrate away to its MNVO's (Lycamobile, 1P Mobile etc) where you get a much larger data allowance for the same money, where you can enjoy EE's 5G speeds and where you can still reap the benefits of free EU roaming.
