Inablity to top up ex T mobile phone

Our community has a gated entrance and is connected by a sim card controlled phone

It uses a sim card supplied by T - mobile. and I tried and failed to top it up today.

EE's web site simply said it would not top up our number and left nowhere to go for answers.

Can anyone help

I have topped up my SIM card regularly ( every few months) using a
supermarket.
I used this process again today without a problem.
It is only the EE website that is declining to top up
Nor can I check the balance on the website which is a nuisance
Is it because it was a t-moble number?

Welcome to the EE Community,

unfortunately it isn't possible to top up a T-Mobile account via the EE website if you call customer services on 150 a EE guide will be able to move you over to a EE plan which you will be able to top up via the website.

Because the SIM I am trying to top up is not in a mobile phone but is part
of a controller that opens and closes our community gate, I cannot dial 150
and get help. I did try calling the helpline which requested my SIM card
phone number and having got it, instructed me to call 150 and then
disconnected me.
EE seem to have a NO-Help line
