I paid in advance for top-ups but here is what...

Hello, all.

I've made a few attempts to have a direct contact to EE staffs but it didn't work so I am leaving my enquiries down below.

I paid my 3rd time payment last Saturday, which I paid in advance (it is meant to be the 17th of every month), and EE also says the day I top-upped was exactly applicable for it. Yet my bank account shows a -20.00 GBP of overdraft. I've done this(like paying for it a few days ahead) so far but this is the first ever time popping any overdraft sign on.

There are three images showing what is currently going on.

It would be appreciated to get it fixed

All the best,

@D_i_N_ : I don't see what's wrong.

  1. You topped-up £20 on 16 Nov.
  2. Your bank shows a corresponding debit to EE of £20 on 16 Nov. It's not an overdraft but an ordinary debit transaction, like whenever you spend money on your debit card..
  3. On 17 Nov your £20 top-up auto bought your pack lasting the 30 days until 17 Dec, leaving your credit at zero.

You got what you paid for & your bank a/c decreased accordingly.

Thank you so much for your reply.

I thought there is a minus 20 pound sign popping up on my bank account so a bit worried about it. As you said the ordinary debit transactions, then is there no problem to leave the account? or still should I fill it with 20 pounds for the next month bill?

Many thanks,

Thank you so much again,

Actually I am not from 🇬🇧 so the mobile billing system is quite new comparing to where I come from.
What I'm most worried about is marking -£20.00 would get affected my credit score hence I left enquiries here.

I really appreciate your assistance.

If you are concerned about an overdraft, I would recommend getting in touch with your bank as this would not be anything to do with EE.

As far as EE are concerned the payment has been processed, no one at EE and certainly no one on this forum could possibly advise you on your financial situation in regards to your bank account balance.
