I need to know how to link a PAYG mobile sim to my landline broadband account?

I have an EE main account for my landline and broadband.   I also have a PAYG mobile sim which is in a gate entry system and I want to link it to my landline account so I can top it up there and see how much is being used etc.   However when I tried to do it it sent a verification code to the gate!?!   I cannot get access to the sim.   I need help and cannot find details of where to ring customer services.  Looks like I have to use snail mail?   Must say I am not impressed.  Seems the bigger the company the less accessible it become to its customers.  What a shame.

Hey there @JC711.

Welcome to the EE Community!

As part of linking a SIM to your account, a one time PIN would usually be required.

Are you able to put the SIM in a phone temporarily to receive this?

Alternatively, the software system for your gates may have a feature that lets you view messages sent to the SIM, but I couldn't say for sure on this front.

A mobile router would have but I doubt that a gate entry system would have.
