The EE web page says log on to your account at EE.co.uk.   I've done that but I can't see any way to get my balance.

I don't want to use an app on y phone or send a text - very poor signal where I am now.

Got a phone, tablet, 4GEE wifi device or broadband ? Add it to your EE.

You haven't linked your phone to your MyEE. Hence it can't have any info about your phone or its status.

Many thanks for patience & help.   I've now resolved this by landline to EE.

Service had been suspended due to a period of non use and has been reinstated

Yes, it had gone into hibernation. You never mentioned you hadn't used it for a long time.

EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.

Hi XRaySpex

I've tried your solution below but seem to be going round in circles a bit. If you have any suggestions, please go ahead!

I want to check data balance on an EE SIM we are using for a portable wifi box.

The card is not used in a mobile phone. All the users are deaf and the phone-up solution won't work.

Is there anywhere you know where on the EE website I can simply add the SIM mobile number and see if there is any data left?

Many thanks in advance!

Hi @NicO2024,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Have you registered the SIM with the EE app or at ee.co.uk?

James

Hi James _ thanks for prompt reply. No I haven't.  I've just been on and tried to search 'how to register my SIM' and just got directed to the community pages. Can you direct me to a registration page?

Hi @NicO2024,

You can either download the app from your app store on your phone or tablet, or register at EE register.

Hope this helps. 🙂

James

@NicO2024 : What solution below? Do you mean visiting http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status ?

In the case of a mobile router, visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available. The earlier suggestion was for a mobile phone.
