Where is your old no.? With another network? On another SIM? On another contract?

@Laurelle1 : You need to call CS to report the loss & they will block it & send you a replacement SIM with the same no.

My old number is lost and currently inactive, but it is with EE on pay as u go. I am just having difficulty activating it and getting the number switch over on a new ee sim card.

Hi @Laurelle1
Has the old SIM card been lost or has the number gone into hibernation for no usage?
If this has gone into hibernation, when was the SIM card last used for a chargeable call or text?

@Laurelle1 : Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation after 6 months of non-use.
When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
