Deductions from bank account

I’m on a pay as you go contract. When I phoned two months ago to add some money to my account I was asked whether I wanted to register my card to make the process easier. I did so, but now EE is taking money from my account. Absolutely disgraceful and tantamount to fraud imo. Has this happened to anyone else?

It’s been happening to me. EE/BT customer service is absolutely appalling. They don’t answer and then if you do get through they will transfer you to another department where you have to hold until you are cut off
