I have a pay as you go sim I cannot register to my EE account because it is in a mobile hotspot device which can’t send or receive text messages so I can’t receive the identifier text to confirm it’s me. For the same reason I can’t text BALANCE to 150. Is there a third way to check data left on an EE sim? I found a post a while ago with a method where I went somewhere online and simply put in the sim number, but I can’t find it again/remember it.

Most mobile routers can receive texts. Login to it & look for the SMS Section/Inbox.
Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see your data & credit status as well as its mobile no. at the top.

Thank you. The add on ee status address is what I was looking for. My mobile hotspot device is from 2008, it has no SMS inbox/capability.
