Add-on Purchase broken again...or is that still?

Trying to purchase a Data Add-on for my PAYG mobile.  I have the credit on my account, , but unable to do so via either the EE app, text message to 150 or on the EE website.  Just get a message saying it's not working and to try again later. 

Not the first time either , and judging by past performance probably won't be the last.  Very frustrating that this continues to be a problem.  You would think a commercial organisation would assign SOME priority to fixing purchasing issues. 

Although I note that the shop also has issues.  I was interested in purchasing a SIM only deal, and was asked to sign in as an existing EE customer for a discount.  However this just goes into an endless loop where you sign in, have to navigate to the purchase again, select it and it asks you to sign in, over and over again.  Gave up and will look at another vendor given my experience with purchases so far. Wonder how many other sales you  have lost , or is this a deliberate ploy to avoid giving the discount?  The user experience on the website is pretty awful generally, with rubbish navigation.  Does nobody test these things actually work before pushing to a live domain?

Visit http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase when not connected to WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

You are not considered a existing EE customer when you only have PAYG with EE. Logout of (or don't login to) your MyEE before going to the EE Shop to buy an EE mobile phone or SIM contract. It expects you to already have an EE mobile phone or SIM contract.

For months now I have been unable to add data to my mobile broadband . Spoken to at least 10 CS staff and got nowhere. I am going to move to vodaphone. Disgraceful. I have credit and can't convert it to data.
