Account isn't registered

Asked for a new nano sim for new phone, got a text message saying Account isn't registered,
have been with them since they took orange over! so what's going on? can't call 150 from home due to being in a reception black hole.

Welcome to the community.

There is nothing to worry about when it says the account isn't registered, it just means that we don't have your details logged against the account as a pay as you go account can be set up and used without it. 

When it comes to ordering a replacement SIM though, it does need to be registered, just so we can make sure that it is being requested by the account holder.

As @Chris_B mentioned, you can switch on WiFi Calling and call from your EE SIM, and our guides can get the account registered for you. You can also call from any other phone using the numbers on our Contact Us page.

Alternatively, you can pop into the EE store with photo ID as suggested above, and they can help you.

@AndyS59  You can call if you have WiFi as you can enable WiFi calling on your device.  You can also go to a EE store with in date photo ID to request a replacement sim. 

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Thanks for the reply, I don't have WiFi calling on my device Its old!! still running Android 7 😱 Think i may have to pop into town and get it sorted that way, thanks for your help 😁
