Want to buy a laptop with data plan

Hi i don’t know what forum to use, but looking at getting one of the  pay monthly laptops with a data plan, if I was to order it, Is there a way I can do it without switching my phone number over, as still want my iPhone 14.  I just want to buy the laptop and pay monthly without it messing up the phone contract

You can purchase your chosen device as an additional line.

An additional line will have no impact on your existing subscriptions, but it will be added to your existing pay-monthly billing account.
