Trying to add mobile plan to Galaxy Watch Ultra

I'm trying to add a watch plan to my Galaxy Watch Ultra (which i purchased direct from Samsung). I currently have a monthly SIM account on EE, which I use in my Microsoft Surface Duo 2 android phone.

If i try to add a mobile plan in the Galaxy Wearable app I get the message: 'EE doesnt offer any mobile plans for watches' which obviously isnt true. 

I have tried multiple times on EE 150, but no-one seems to know what to do? Reaching out to the community!

Thanks for coming to the community.

You'd only be able to add a plan to you Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra if the phone was a compatible Samsung device and with selected plans. 

If you are trying to purchase a plan while paired to a Microsoft Surface Duo 2, I'm afraid it won't let you add the plan.

So is it not possible to get a plan with EE then to add to my watch? I can scan a QI code to add an esim to it?

Of course i meant QR code....  🙂  !!

I'm afraid not @FatalFrenchy, it is only possible to add a plan for the watch when you are using a compatible Samsung phone, it is not something we support on other phones for watch plans.

I received and error 512 when trying to add a line for my Ultra linked to my Samsung Fold6

Hi @PDAJah,

I would suggest reaching out to our team on 150 with the error code you are getting as they will need to run a diagnostic on your account. 

They will need the EID of the watch when you call which you can get in the Settings on the watch itself or the Watch Settings option in the Wearable app.

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm unable to add my Galaxy Watch 5 Pro to my pay monthly Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. I too get the error code 512. 

Hi. Unfortunately no. The IMEI of my watch was already on plan with different network provider (that's what I heard from EE customer service).  That's the reason for 512 error code.  I send it back to the seller (Ebay).
