Hi my mother in law recently upgraded her mobile and gave her only phone to our little boy so we can put a sim in just incase he ever gets separated from us while out.

I have a giffgaff sim at home and placed it in but it won't except it, can someone please help me work this out

Welcome to the community,

It looks like it is locked to the network, you would need to get this unlocked to use a SIM card from another network.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using web based app or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@Pvfc69 : You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.
