Hi @mioara_calin_33
It's free and easy to unlock online, just use the online unlock form at Unlock EE Devices
Most devices we've sold from July 2021 are no longer locked to EE, so it's worth checking to see if your device is locked to our network first. Just pop any other network SIM into the device.

@mioara_calin_33 : You can just apply for unlocking by using the Unlocking your device form and giving its IMEI no., which you can obtain be dialling *#06# into its keypad.

Thanks for your support. My wife bought a new Pixel 7 phone (still sealed) but I now find that it's locked to Verizon. I tried a service which claimed to unlock for £5 but then demanded £46 before releasing the unlock code. I saw the link to the unlock service but when I enter the IMEI, I just get told that there's a problem with the service. This is a 15 digit code which I have checked and rechecked.
Has anyone got any bright ideas, please?

@ianbishop : Yes, the EE unlocking service can only unlock devices locked to EE, not locked to Verizon. You need to approach Verizon to ask for it to be unlocked.
